Plot summary: While the king and queen journey for six months throughout their kingdom, their son Prince Eddie, an irresponsible and lazy young man, manages the castle and the people. Unbeknownst to Eddie, his parents arrange to have Wizzie, the court wizard; Princess Victoria, their physically strong and mentally bright daughter; and Galahad the Dragon, the court physical trainer, supervise Eddie while they are gone. Their duties involve making the prince: mentally bright, socially adept, and physically strong. With a little trickery on the part of the trio and the "disappearance" of the castle's treasury of gold, Prince Eddie emerges as a respected leader and a fine future king. "The Trouble with Eddie" is a comical play with easy to digest lessons on what it takes to become a leader in life even if the only person you will ever lead is you.
